Thank you for your interest in the Miss Thomasville & Miss Central Carolina Scholarship pageant!  Our 2017 Pageant was held on February 4, 2017 at T. Austin Finch Auditorium in Thomasville, NC.  

We are proud to be partnering with High Point University offering our 2017 - 2018 Miss and Outstanding Teen Queens in-kind scholarships as well as our runner up contestants.

We are also proud to be partnering with Wingate University offering our 2017 - 2018 Miss Queens in-kind scholarships. 

Please refer to the information below to find out if you meet both the residency and other requirements listed to become a contestant in our pageant this year.

After we receive this information from you, we will be able to forward other important forms and information that you will need in order to compete for the titles of Miss Thomasville, Miss Central Carolina, Miss Thomasville's Outstanding Teen and Miss Central Carolina's Outstanding Teen, 2017.   All paperwork will be due January 7, 2017.    Please email missthomasvillepageant@gmail.com for information regarding turning in your paperwork.

Miss Contestant Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
   Miss Central Carolina contestants must be a resident of North Carolina or enrolled in and attending classes on a full-time basis at an 
                       accredited College or University in the State of North Carolina


 
Miss Thomasville contestants
must first be a resident of the State of North Carolina AND,

  Be a resident of;

  OR enrolled in and attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited College or University in;

  OR employed on a full-time basis in;

     Davidson, Randolph, Guilford, Forsyth, Alamance, or Davie Counties for at least six (6) months by the date of our local pageant. 

  • Must be born female, single, never married or had a marriage annulled.
  • Must not now be and never have been pregnant. 
  • Must be of good moral character and in good health and have no criminal record.
  • Must be seventeen (17) years old and at least in the 12th grade of High School on the date of the pageant
                    AND
  •      No older than twenty-four (24) years old on December 31, 2017
  •      Develop and promote a Community Service Platform. (A service project that is of personal interest to each individual contestant)

     v  There is NO entry fee required to participate. Miss America has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network to develop a National Platform.  Upon entry into the 2015 Miss Thomasville Pageant, each contestant is required to raise a $100.00 donation to the Miss America National Platform; Children’s Miracle Network.  A contestant will NOT be allowed to compete if this requirement is not met before the date of our local pageant.  Please visit http://missamerica4kids.com/ to set up your individual Children’s Miracle Network account. 

 

Contestants must compete in the following 5 areas of competition:

                 Interview – (25%) – A 10 minute private interview with the panel of judges.

                                                 (9 ½ minutes of questions from the judges and 30 sec. closing if you so choose) 

                 Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit – (15%) – A one or two piece swimsuit of your choice as long as it is in good taste. 

   Talent – (35%) – 90 second maximum time limit on your talent presentation.

   Evening Wear – (20%)

   On-Stage Question – (5%)


Miss Thomasville & Miss Central Carolina's Outstanding Teen Eligibility Requirements:

The Outstanding Teen Pageant is an OPEN to girls living anywhere in the state of North Carolina.
The Miss Thomasville and Miss Central Carolina Outstanding Teen Pageant is a stacked pageant,
 awarding the titles to the two teen contestants with the highest scores.

  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
  • Must be a resident of North Carolina for at least six (6) months by the date of our local pageant.
  • Must be female; single and never been married or pregnant; be of good moral character; be in good health. 
  •  Must be thirteen (13) to seventeen (17) years of age, but not yet a senior in high school. 
  •  Must develop and promote a Community Service Platform. (A service project that is of personal interest to each individual contestant)
  • There will be a $150 Entry Fee that MUST be paid before or at the mandatory Contestant Meeting in order to participate in the 2016 Miss Thomasville and Miss Central Carolina Outstanding Teen Pageant.

Contestants must compete in the following 4 areas of competition:

            Interview – (35%) – A 8 minute private interview with the panel of judges. (No opening or closing)

            Lifestyle and Fitness – (10%) – Active/Aerobics wear that is in good taste for a family program.  

           Talent – (35%) - 90 Second maximum time limit for your talent presentation.

           Evening Wear and On-Stage Question – (20%)
